ABRACADABRA Financial Toolkit – Preliminary report

The following tool has been developed in the frame of the ABRACADABRA project which has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 programme.

This document is an interim outline of the development of the financial toolkit, which provides guidelines and tools, and outline process for relevant stakeholders to understand, assess and implement the financial assessment and viable processes required for the deployment of successful building renovation projects.

ABRACADABRA Regulatory Toolkit – Preliminary report

The following tool has been developed in the frame of the ABRACADABRA project which has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 programme.

The aim is to support Public Administrations in charge of territorial and building regulation in estimating the right type and amount of possible Add-ons, in order to achieve a sustainable and cost-efficient business model for tenants, developers and owners, and avoiding over-estimation of proposed add-ons.

Passive House Regions with Renewable Energies (PassREg), Bulgaria

Several European municipalities and regions have already committed themselves to the principles of the passive house (maximum heating and cooling requirements of 15 kWh/m²a in new buildings). The experiences of these regions, or PassREgs, have helped pave the way for other UE regions to reach the 2020 energy targets. Border regions that had implemented effective and cost-effective strategies were highlighted.

REACH project aims to empower energy poor households to take actions to save energy and change their habits in order to improve their living conditions and to establish energy poverty as an issue that demands tailor-made policies and measures at local, national and EU level. The aim of REACH is to contribute to energy poverty abatement at practical and structural level.
